I’m a Ph.D. candidate in Economics at the Darla Moore School of Business, University of South Carolina. I hold a Master’s degree in Financial Management and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.
My research explores the intersection of financial economics, banking, and AI, especially machine learning, NLP, neural networks, LLMs, and algorithmic fairness. I study how these tools are reshaping credit markets, financial behavior, and regulation. My current projects examine human-AI collaboration in lending, AI adoption in banking, fairness in predictive models, and how recommender systems can either spread or curb financial misinformation. I’ve taught undergraduate courses in data analysis and economics. Outside of work, I enjoy hiking, photography, camping, volleyball, and hosting barbecue parties with friends.
